You would get scored on ridiculous requirements. Worst Job Ever. This pharmacy was a good place to work. In the shipping and receiving department there is a lot going on. It is face-paced and requires one to stand during the duration of the shift. The company does appreciate their employees. A typical day at work include in bound calls, placing orders for medications through the mail service, knowing when to place an over-ride for the prescriptions, and sending request to the doctors office for a new prescription to be placed on file, advising the patient of the last refill on file and navigating through the system advising of the plan the client has.

This job was very stressful.. They expected a lot of dedication for not enough pay. They were not flexible with work hours or duties. There was no room for advancement.
It's a call center, where thousands of customers call in to refill their prescriptions. Also will take calls where their insurance has suddenly changed who can fill their medication so you will have a lot of upset customers confused by why they suddenly can't go to their local pharmacy.

Kosecoff stated that Prescription Solutions' expansion comes in anticipation of increased consumer demand resulting from the new Medicare Part D prescription drug program, which goes into effect Jan. The Overland Park facility will be Prescription Solutions' second mail service pharmacy. Today, Prescription Solutions' mail service facility in the San Diego area fills more than 20, prescriptions daily. The Overland Park facility is being designed to fill 50, prescriptions per eight-hour shift, with a capacity of two shifts daily.
